§ 5.02. Qualification of candidates.

Any person desiring to become a candidate in any regular election, shall file written notice of his candidacy with the municipal superintendent not less than fifteen (15) days nor more than forty-five (45) days, as provided by ordinance, prior to the date fixed for the holding of any such election. Written notice of candidacy for any special election shall be filed with said superintendent not less than ten (10) nor more than thirty (30) days, as provided by ordinance, prior to the date fixed for the holding of any such election. His notice of candidacy shall be accompanied by such qualification fee, if any, as may be required by ordinance.
