§ 5.01. Regular elections.

Time for holding and taking office. The regular election for mayor and councilmen shall be held on the first Wednesday in December of 1978 and on the first Wednesday in December every four years thereafter. Officials elected at any regular election shall take office on the second Thursday in January next following such election.
